This Syrah from Anton von Klopper will make you realise that the Shiraz wines of the Barossa Valley isn't all this marvellous little grape can be.
Light, fresh and easy drinking, the Shiraz grapes went through carbonic fermentation in fibreglass before being pressed to old oak barriques.
It comes out the other side as a charmingly rustic wine, filled with peppery spice and makes for an excellent table wine. Easy drinking plus plus plus.
