This Batch 5.1 is a blend of 2 casks, one previously held a Tasmanian Malt Whisky and the other a Tasmanian Pinot Noir. It is the same casks as batch 5 but this bottling is diluted to a lower ABV.
An amber-gold whisky presents aromas of a strawberry Tarte Tatin drizzled in bitter orange liqueur, with hints of freshly dried hay and rose water. On the palate rich flavours of Anzac biscuits and brown sugar are highlighted by cranberries and Campari before mocha and burnt toffee linger on the finish.
